With over 2,200 exhibitors and about 50,000 visitors from all over the world, SMM is one of the world’s largest maritime trade fairs. We will be there alongside our partners GEA in Hall A3 Stand 216. On display will be our compact 250 m3/h treatment unit. This unit features recent innovations, including the inline lamp driver and integrated flow meter.
Posidonia 2016 was the largest in terms of exhibition space and most promoted event in the exhibitions’ almost 50-year history, and the 2018 installment (held June 4 – 8 in Athens) is shaping up to be even bigger and better.
We will be there, alongside our partners PAN MARINE in stand 4.230 (Hall 4, Stand 230). Our extremely compact 150 m3/h treatment unit will be on display – see for yourself just how compact it is and learn more about the reasons why shipowners around the world are selecting the Trojan Marinex BWT system.
On March 7, 750 maritime and shipping experts descended upon the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Kallithea, Greece for the 2018 GREEN4SEA Conference.

This year marks the 27th Nor-Shipping trade fair, a biennial event held in Oslo, Norway that draws some of the biggest names in the maritime industry today. From May 30 – June 2, visitors from 80 countries will attend this world-class exhibition in the spirit of collaboration, innovation and inspiration. The event includes seminars and displays featuring the latest in maritime technology and also serves as a perfect venue for industry professionals to network and share ideas.
We will be there (Stand E04-16) and so will our 150 m3/h ballast water treatment system. This is the smallest system in our suite, with vertical (H x W x D) unit dimensions measuring a mere 2.2 x 1.0 x 1.3 m.
If you will be at Nor-Shipping, please stop by our stand and say “Hallo!” (here’s a map, just look for Stand E04-16). For those not attending, no worries, as you can still take a peek in and around the Trojan Marinex BWT system by watching this video.
This year, Green Ship Technology (GST) Europe is co-locating with Shipping2030 Europe. Why? Because digital transformation and greener shipping go hand-in-hand, and as ships become smarter they also become greener, cleaner and more efficient. By combining the two conferences, delegates have access to industry leaders and learn about the ground breaking vision of digital, while also discovering the benefits of green technology for cleaner air, cleaner water and a more sustainable industry.
The conference takes place March 22 – 24. We are an event sponsor and will be exhibiting with our channel partner GEA. On day 1, Christian Blæsbjerg (GEA’s Area Sales Manager – Marine & Energy, Oil & Gas) will be part of a panel discussion titled “Ballast Water Convention Ratification – what’s next for the industry?”. During this panel, Christian will be answering questions regarding the Trojan Marinex BWT system, various ballast water treatment compliance requirements and overall industry preparedness.
The UK installment of BWMTech is a must-attend event for us every year. This year it takes place at the Hilton Tower Bridge in London, UK, December 5 – 7. This conference, like its North American counterpart, continues to provide an interactive forum for shipowners, ship yards, system manufacturers and government regulators to discuss all things ballast water.
Day 1 Panel Discussion, Round Table Sessions & Coffee Breaks
On day 1 of the event, Andrew Daley (Trojan Marinex Product Specialist) will be taking part in a panel discussion titled “The Road To Compliance: Factors To Consider Beyond Installation.” During this discussion, he will offer insight into establishing appropriate ballast water treatment O & M best practices and also arm shipowners with facts about operational expenditure (OPEX).
During breaks, we invite you to visit the barista stand to order your favorite hot beverage. Indulge and sample to your heart’s content – it’s on us!
